Motion Correction on Every Patient, Every Time Using Discovery IQ, Q.Clear, and Q.Static
"Our department began using motion management techniques in PET/CT with the 2009 installation of the Discovery™ PET/CT 600 system. Based on initial promising results, we conducted a multi-center, retrospective study of PET/CT scans acquired with a gating technique (Motion Match, Q.Freeze; GE Healthcare). Our study, published in 2012, found that respiratory gating increased the quantitation accuracy, reduced the equivocal finding in reading images, and increased the sensitivity of the diagnostic imaging without loss in specificity."1

For the first time in PET reconstruction, no trade-off between excellent image quality and consistent, quantitative SUV measurements to assist in earlier determination of how well your treatment plan is working.
Q.Clear, pioneering full-convergence reconstruction technology, enables fast and efficient reading for greater confidence in evaluating a patient’s response to treatment. It provides up to 2x improvement in both PET quantitation accuracy (SUVmean) and image quality (SNR).
