Renal imaging in nuclear medicine is an important tool in the diagnosis of many renal disorders. Nuclear imaging methods are able to evaluate bilateral renal function individually. This program provides a review of the anatomy and physiology of the renal system. The radiopharmaceuticals available for renal imaging are discussed and various techniques for imaging and analyzing the data are demonstrated.
