Overview

By the end of this program, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe the anatomic construct of the female breast.
  • Discuss the physics of breast MRI as opposed to conventional mammography.
  • Recall a brief history of breast MRI techniques.
  • Explain the requirements of the ACR regarding breast MRI.
  • Recognize breast lesion morphology in MR images.
